A. Marble Fixing -
To fix marble, as a contractor we first prepare the substrate by making sure it is clean, level and structurally sound. They then plan the layout, apply a suitable adhesive evenly using a trowel, and lay the marble tiles, pressing them firmly and aligning them accurately. After the adhesive has set, the tile spacers are removed, and grout is applied and then cleaned from the surface. Once the grout cures, we polish to reflect the marble and apply a protective sealer. Attention to detail, precise installation and quality materials go into a successful marble installation that enhances the beauty and durability of a space.
Surface Preparation - Clean and level the substrate where the marble is to be installed, then ensure it is free of debris, dust and moisture.
Layout Planning - The marble tiles are laid out with kid gloves, considering the pattern and alignment to reach the desired design.
Adhesive Application - Applies an appropriate adhesive to the substrate using an undefined trowel size, ensuring uniform coverage.
Tile Installation - Press the marble tiles firmly into the adhesive, aligning them with spacers to maintain even spacing.
Grouting - Once the adhesive has set, remove the spacers and fill the gap with grout, ensuring a smooth and even finish.
Finishing - Polishing the marble surface by removing excess grout, and using a sealant to protect the marble from tarnish and increase its longevity.
